The Danish Parliament made a fundamental decision in favour of the widespread introduction of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) on the entire public rail network.
This also affects the level crossing protection technology, with approx. 600 level crossings between railway tracks and roads or pedestrian crossings.
The products that PINTSCH GmbH supplied include passenger warning systems installed in the platform area, staff crossing systems for vehicle depots and shunting yards and level crossing protection systems for level crossings between public roads and railway lines.
The tried and tested RBUEP technology, which was further developed into RBUEP DK and is approved according to CENELEC SIL 4, is used for the passenger warning systems and the level crossings.
The LED-ZA module, which is the heart of the auxiliary signal indicator well-known on the German and European markets, is used to control the staff crossings. The LED-ZA controller is also certified according to CENELEC SIL 4.
